Abstract

Teachers’ capacity is getting more important for fostering convergent talents human resources in the fourth industrial revolution era. This study aims to developed a Software(SW) teachers’ training program using a robot for convergence education and analyzed the effectiveness by applying it to non-informatics teachers. As a results, informatics teaching efficacy of non-informatics teachers post-test result(3.63) statistically significant increased(t=3.303, p< .05) compared to the pre-test result(3.30). Furthermore, the attitude toward SW training using a robot for convergence education post-test result(4.69) statistically significant increased(t=3.333, P< .05) compared to the pre-test result(4.08). These results demonstrated that the teachers’ training program that we developed in this study positively affects the informatics teaching efficacy of the non-informatics teachers and positively changed the attitude toward the use of SW education using a robot in the convergence education.
