Abstract

Since the government has argued for “From government to governance”, previously hierarchical government structure is shifting toward horizontal and mutual governance where diverse groups of people would participate. Although the governance has been implemented in various fields, the level of implementation is quite restricted to be mechanical and functional. Also, the concept itself remains rhetoric. Likewise, implementation of convergence education is being tried out but is quite limited. Thus, the boundary of governance should be expanded and the convergence education be reinterpreted. In other words, governance should be redefined after completing the structure of each science and expanding it in terms of convergence for the educational integrity. The true convergence education of new paradigm begins with enhancing the basic structure of each science and applying the concepts of superiority and inferiority. This study is especially meaningful in terms that it suggests the direction of convergence education with the idea of governance.
